Community Tuesdays 10am - 12pm
with Eastbourne Foodbank, People Matter, Cafe Elisa & Scrabble Club

“The foodbank was there when we really needed it, it was an absolute lifeline.”

Eastbourne Foodbank don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why they provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to them in crisis
The People Matter Charitable Trust was set up by local Christians in 1997 to provide quality information, advice and guidance and practical help to jobseekers in Eastbourne and surrounding areas.

They exist so that people have an opportunity to find or retain meaningful and satisfying work through personal support, practical help, information, advice, guidance and encouragement.

We have a real heart for mission and outreach. To that end we support a number of charities including Esuubi, Mission Aviation Fellowship, CMS, Families for Autism and  Diocesan Family Support Network.

We have also partnered with three local charities who use our facilities for drop in clinics and meetings. They are Eastbourne Foodbank, People Matter and Compass Community Arts.

Hospitality plays a big part of Jesus' story and we think it is important to offer our church as a safe, fun and social place for the local community to meet.

TOTZ PARENT & TODDLER GROUP meets every Thursday in term time from 10am-12pm. Offering ride-ons, refreshments, books and puzzles, role play and song, cost is £1 per family, just turn up on the day and you will be most welcome!

Those who work alongside children and vulnerable adults at St Elisabeth's has been DBS checked and have received Diocesan Safeguarding training. All safeguarding queries can be directed to our Parish Secretary & Safeguarding Officer, Susan Santos. Susan's email is
